CSR

For the Statefield Tradelink Companies, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goes beyond three words strung together to signify a statutory obligation. It is a language that binds us in our action – as individuals and as a group of companies. Our CSR is executed through the Statefield Tradelink Foundation, our philanthropic arm established in 2001 in response to the devastating Gujarat earthquake. What started as an initiative to swiftly extend our hand to those ravaged by a calamity, has over the decades, grown to consistently support over 35 organizations through CSR and philanthropy, enabling them to serve in the areas of education, healthcare, disaster relief and animal welfare. From the year 2014, our CSR initiatives gained structure and began moving towards more systematically planned interventions, implemented by our Foundation and in partnership with other organizations as well. Under the visionary leadership of our Group Chairman, along with an intense involvement of our employees, our CSR projects have since evolved into scientifically researched, long-term grassroots projects in three districts in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. These projects have been undertaken in lesser-ventured regions, with two of our project geographies (districts) being identified as Aspirational Districts by the NITI Aayog. All the CSR initiatives are community-driven, data-based, complementing and supplementing existing development efforts, aimed at uplifting tribal and rural communities under the aegis of Integrated Rural Transformation Programme.
